Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Ethan Weston and Steve Edwards trading as Starline Studio ("Starline," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in the Listmas iOS app.

1. Privacy by design

We do not operate an advertising or analytics service for Listmas, do not sell personal information and do not use information for behavioural tracking. Listmas content is stored on your device and, when you choose the relevant features, in your private iCloud account or an Apple CloudKit shared list.

2. Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, Listmas may contain names or nicknames, gift and list details, prices and budgets, notes, dates, task status, photographs or selected images, and settings such as currency, notifications and archived plans. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide your name and email (including a private relay email); we use it for identity and sharing features.

3. Apple services

Listmas uses Apple’s Sign in with Apple, iCloud/CloudKit, App Store/StoreKit, Calendar/EventKit, Photos/Camera and local notification services. Apple processes information under Apple’s own privacy policy and terms. Shared-list content is disclosed to the people you explicitly invite. We do not receive the payment card or Apple ID password used for Premium.

4. Where information is stored

Planner content is stored locally. Optional backup and synchronisation use your iCloud account. Shared lists use Apple’s CloudKit sharing and are visible to their owner and accepted participants. Starline does not run a separate advertising or analytics database for this content. Apple may process data as provider of its services.

5. Permissions

Calendar, camera, photo-library, Face ID and notification permissions are requested only when you use the related feature. Calendar events created by Listmas remain in Apple Calendar; disabling access prevents further changes but does not automatically remove events already created.

6. Retention, deletion and access

You can edit or delete your local content in the App. Settings provides export and deletion controls. Deleting your data removes the local planner and, where available, backups and shared lists you own; lists owned by another person may remain in their account. Exported files, Apple Calendar events and data held by Apple are controlled separately by you and Apple. Contact us if you need help with a privacy request.

7. Security

We use the protections provided by iOS and Apple’s services. No electronic storage or transmission is guaranteed secure. Protect your device, Apple ID, PIN, Face ID settings and exported files.

8. Children’s Privacy

Listmas is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
